I get dressed at the kids, and so what?

October 17, 2016

You should have noticed that I like getting dressed at the kids. Today, kids collections follow the same fashion as the womens’. There are very often the same designs at the kids and at the womens’. That’s the case at Massimo Dutti kids, La Redoute kids and Karl Marc John kids.

Honestly, it’s not because we get dressed at the kids that we adopt a kids style in the same time.
First of all, you need to choose designs that fit to our body types. Avoid tops with too high round neck collars and designs that flatten the breast. Then, the main thing is to feminize the outfit with accessorizes and to wear a feminine chic hand bag.

For this Monday, I show you a navy blue and burgundy outfit wearing a dress and a bomber jacket; navy blue is one of the trendy color for this season. I have paired a navy blue dress from Massimo Dutti kids with a La Redoute kids bomber. For this Fall/Winter, La Redoute has re-designed and updated a collection composed of essential pieces from the brand’s 60’s and 80’s archives.

To complete the outfit, I wear the Furla Metropolis bag. It has been lent by my friend Mél. I love its shape and its super chic design with its gold chain (I have hesitated to buy it in beige last Summer). Velvet blue sneakers come from the brand Mo:vel. I wore them in red in this outfit.

To finish, I wear Fosseth earrings. It’s a brand I have discoverd a few years ago on Instagram. Collections remain feminine, and so elegant from collections to collections and her personal touch is also very recognizable with the pairing of 24 carats gold-plated brass, lamb leather and its glass pearls. I love it!

Have a lovely week, Xxx.

Fashion advice for petites

Usually, I prefer wearing high waist dresses as a petite. This one is low waist but as it’s short, it fits well to petite body types. Don’t forget to add a short jacket to your outfit and to let it opened. It adds verticality to the outfit. For more petite tips, it’s here.

La Redoute kids bomber, Collector collection (new co), exists at the womens’ here – Massimo Dutti kids dress (new co) – Mo:vel sneakers, T36 (new co)* – Furla bag, Metropolis design (new co) – Fosseth earrings, Sak design (new co)
