It’s been two weeks I am back from Japan and I already want to go back. I fell in love with this country (so is my husband). Japan is so elegant! Everything is so charming and wonderful. The country is very clean, well organized, Japanese people are adorable, polite and very respectful. We enjoyed it so much that we have decided to learn Japanese. We have already subscribed to the CNED (correspondence courses) and have received the first courses.
Today, we are visiting Kyoto, Japan imperial capital between 794 and 1868. Kyoto is a very typical city, culturally very rich. It has kept its traditional architecture with its narrow streeets and wood houses. With its 2000 temples (a part of them is listed on the Unesco World Heritage), castles and sanctuaries, Kyoto is considered as Japan cultural centre.
We had the chance to visit Kyoto by bike (provided by our Airbnb). For this, I needed a comfortable outfit: the combo short skirt/tee/bomber/sneakers was just perfect for that day. I have choosen a black and white outfit and have paired my Boohoo Petite “LITTLE ONE” tee with a checked shirt from the same brand. Then, I have added my new bomber bought at H&M kids section. I love bombers (not only because it’s very trendy) but because I am very thin and bombers give volume and structure my body. My Sézane Belli bag has accompagnied me all the stay long. Finally, I don’t regret having bought it at all, even if it was at first a compulsive purchase… (I alredy talked about it here). It’s very convenient because it’s big enough to contain essentials and can be worn with the strap (perfect on the bike) or on the shoulder.
To finish, I wear a necklace from the brand Anaïré Paris, a made in France brand. I really like this brand’s poetic, colorful and feminine wold. The designer first started to work as a painter decorator. As the same time as her profesionnal activity, she created jewellry just for fun, for herself and for her friends. Two years later, she decided to make a career of it. Her jewellry activity grew and she got the opportunity to take over a workshop in Paris. At that time, her dream became real! I stopped over her shop just before going to Japan and really liked it. It is so cute and full of trendy objects. You can of course find Anaïré jewellry collections, but also cards, lovely crockery, cactus… It is a great address if you need to buy presents. If you want to discover more in detail Anaïré jewellry and meet the adorable designer, don’t hesitate to visit her at the following address: 14 Avenue Ledru-Rollin in Paris.
Enjoy your week, Xxx.
Fashion advice for petites
Don’t hesitate to wear checked print or horizontal stripes if you are a petite. These print bring verticality to the outfit and contribute to lenghten the silhouette.
