Germany Petite outfit Travels

The spot print

November 2, 2015

After last week smart outfit, I show you a casual one, shot in front of the Berlin Mall. It is the second time I vist Berlin this year (last outfits here and here). The first time, I was with my family so it was a cultural weekend but that time, it was with friends so I went out more and discovered lovely places. I won’t prepare an article on Berlin good addresses to go because it’s absolutely not possible to know a city in only three days but I strongly advice you to have dinner in the la Soupe Populaire restaurant. It is a gourmet restaurant typical of the underground Berlin. Food is refined and revisit traditional  German dishes (yes, pork knuckle can also be very refined!).

Let’s back to the outfit. I wear a lot of new purchases in that outfit. First, there is my spot print jacket coming from Little Karl Marc John (Karl Marc John kids collection). I love what this brand does, both for its women’s and kids’ collections. It’s renewing very well for every new collection and that is a really good point for a fashion brand. I love the spot print and it is natural that I had a crush on this jacket. To remind the print, I wear my new spot print scarf bought at Balsamik.

The body is a piece which is very trendy and that I love wearing in winter because the wind is not reaching the belly. The one I wear is from the new Tam Tam x Uniqlo collaboration. The two brands work together and pool their knowledge to create a line of a dozen of homewear items. I love the body that I have already bought in two colors (black and burgundy). The feminine style of Princesse Tam Tam with the aesthetics design and lace yoke on the shoulders and in the back is paired to Uniqlo comfort and technical knowledge. To create it, the Heattech technology has been used: it is patented and the fabric keeps the heat. It also brings a soft sensation thanks to the camellia oil that is laid into the fabric. I confirm that the body really keeps warm. I am very sensitive to the cold and in winter, I always need to wear an underwear top under my shirts and tops. With it, there is no need to wear anything more!

And finally, for the glitter touch (there is nothing better to brighten a winter outfit), I wear my Skoloo socks and new sneakers from Balsamik which are very comfy, so perfect to visit! It was a good surprise for me when I discoved that Balsamik sells small size shoes (from the 2UK size).

Thanks to your votes, I have been shortlisted to the Golden Blog Awards. A big thank you to all of you for your support! The next step is the award ceremony in Paris town hall the 10th November. Enjoy your week, Xxx.

Fashion advice for petites

As a Petite, I prefer wearing small prints to repect the proportionality principle between my body type and the piece of clothe. And don’t forget the slim jeans (not too low waist) and the short jacket to lenghten the legs!
