I spent the last week-end in Madrid with my two beloved sisters (you might have already seen a few pics if you follow me on Instagram).
We were very lucky because the weather was awesome so we could discover the city under the sun. We walked around Madrid typical alleys, wandered in the different stores, visited the Botanical Garden, ate tapas and the famous “churron con chocolate” from the Ginès Chocolateria.
I show you one of the outfit I wore during that week-end : a comfy pink and gray outfit with sneakers, a sweater, a jeans and a raincoat to protect from the wind.
The sweater is from the brand Balzac Paris; a French brand I discovered last year and for which I had a crush (especially on their sweater collection). The brand has a permanent collection but each season, it also creates a limited edition collection.
The rain coat is from the brand Little Captain, the kids brand of Captain Tortue Group, a brand that only door to door sells. In France, this kind of distribution channel is not very popular (contrary to countries like the United States) but it is developping. I have never experienced door to door selling in fashion but I had in scrapbooking. One of my favourite brand was Stampin’ Up, a US brand and I really liked the workshops that were regularly organized. Indeed, I met people who share the same hobbies and it is really fun to gather together. In fashion, I find it is a good concept because you can try the clothes in avoiding the stores queues (especially during week-ends) and in a very friendly atmosphere.
To come back to the outfit and to be honest with you, I was not a fond of rain coats until last year. I have changed my mind when the brand Maje collaborated with K-Way for a capsule collection. It has really modernized this piece.
